How is a city lien search requested for Titusville property?
Titusville handles city lien research through its Finance office, and owners checking their own property are not charged for the search.
The City of Titusville's Finance office handles property lien research. A requester completes the Lien Search Request form and sends it by fax, email or mail.
According to the city's FAQ page, there is no charge when an owner asks about liens on their own property. A buyer can make an inquiry by phone, fax or email, and payoff amounts are requested on the research form.
A city search covers amounts owed to Titusville, so mortgages, judgments and county liens still require a title search.
