Easler Law PLLC, serving Viera from our Melbourne office
Easler Law serves Viera residents from our Melbourne office at 508 N Harbor City Blvd. We do not have a Viera office, but the drive is short and we also meet by phone or video.
Viera is a planned community in unincorporated Brevard County and home to the Brevard County Government Center and the Moore Justice Center, where many county court matters are heard. Viera homeowners often live in neighborhoods with homeowner associations and community development districts, and those rules affect buying, selling, and estate planning.

Getting Here and Driving Directions
Viera lies about 14 miles northwest of our office, typically about 25 minutes by car. One route runs south on Wickham Road through Suntree to Eau Gallie Boulevard, then east along State Road 518 until it reaches U.S. 1.
Interstate drivers can join I-95 southbound at Viera Boulevard (Exit 193) or Wickham Road (Exit 191) and leave at Exit 183. From Eau Gallie Boulevard and U.S. 1, go south roughly a mile to find the office on the right. Parking is available on site.
Speak with an Attorney
Viera clients commonly ask about stewardship district or CDD assessments, county permits and HOA disputes. An attorney looks at the documents beforehand and meets with the client confidentially for up to one hour.
The cost of that consultation is $350. Our office does not offer complimentary advice. Viera residents can call 321-206-3603 or email hello@easlerlaw.com to begin, and our staff will get back to them to arrange the meeting.

Frequently Asked Questions About Viera
Where Are Building Permits and Zoning Handled for Viera?
Viera is unincorporated, so building permits and zoning requests go through Brevard County rather than a city hall. The County Planning and Development offices sit in the Viera Government Center at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, and the zoning line is 321-633-2069. Permit applications, permit searches and inspection requests are handled online through the County BASS portal, with virtual inspections offered through VuSpex.
Does Viera Have a Mayor or City Council?
Viera has no mayor or city council because it is not an incorporated city. Local government decisions for Viera are made by the Brevard County Board of County Commissioners, whose five members are each elected from a district. Some infrastructure in West Viera is also maintained by the Viera Stewardship District, which is a special district and not a city government.
Which County Commissioner Represents Viera?
As of October 2026, Viera falls in Brevard County Commission District 4, represented by Commissioner Rob Feltner. The District 4 office is in Building C, Suite 214 of the Viera Government Center and can be reached at 321-633-2044. District 4 also takes in Rockledge, Melbourne, Palm Shores, Satellite Beach and Indian Harbour Beach, and the County offers an online map to confirm a district.
How Are Public Records Requested from Brevard County Offices in Viera?
Brevard County routes public records requests through a coordinator in the County Attorney's Office, Building C, Room 308, at 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way in Viera. Requests can be made in person there or at any County office, by mail to that address or by phone at 321-633-2071. The County main switchboard at 321-633-2000 can direct a caller to the right department.
What Does the Viera Stewardship District Maintain?
The Viera Stewardship District funds and maintains public infrastructure for the West Viera Development of Regional Impact, planned for 18,023 homes along with commercial and office space.
Its upkeep work covers aquatic weed control in drainage areas and the community canal, street lighting and habitat care in the Viera Wilderness Park. The district is managed by Wrathell, Hunt and Associates and can be reached at 877-276-0889 or info@vierastewardshipdistrict.org.
How Is the Viera Stewardship District Board Chosen?
The Viera Stewardship District has a five member Board of Supervisors, each serving a four year term under Chapter 2006-360, Laws of Florida. Three supervisors are chosen in landowner elections and two are elected in the Brevard County general election. As of October 2026, Todd J. Pokrywa is Chair and Amy Mitchell is Vice Chair, and both of their seats show terms expiring in November 2026.
What Area Does the Viera Stewardship District Cover?
The Viera Stewardship District covers about 13,441.6 acres west of I-95 in central Brevard County. Its boundary runs along the Eight Mile Canal to the north and the River Lakes Conservation Area to the west and south. The original Viera development and I-95 form the eastern edge.
