How is a city lien search ordered for Palm Bay property?
Palm Bay lien searches are ordered online through Orange Data, the city's contracted vendor, which confirms whether a property owes money to the city.
Since March 1, 2022, the City of Palm Bay has used Orange Data to handle lien search requests. Requesters create an Orange Data account and submit the request through its Palm Bay portal.
As of October 2026, the city's page lists the fee at $60.00 per search, with requests expedited. City lien documents are recorded in the Official Records of the Brevard County Clerk of Courts and indexed by property owner name.
A city lien search covers only amounts owed to the City of Palm Bay, so mortgages, judgments and county liens are found through a separate title search.
