How is a city lien search ordered for Cocoa Beach property?
Cocoa Beach sends every city lien search request to Orange Lien Data, LLC, the vendor it has used since April 2020 for title companies and buyers.
Since April 1, 2020, the City of Cocoa Beach has partnered with Orange Lien Data, LLC to process lien searches. The service covers title companies, closing agents and others looking for outstanding debt owed to the city.
All requests go through Orange Lien Data rather than City Hall. Because the search covers only money owed to Cocoa Beach, a separate title search is still needed for mortgages, judgments and county liens.
