Where are probate cases heard for Viera residents?
Although the Moore Justice Center is in Viera, Brevard probate and guardianship matters are assigned to the Titusville Courthouse under a 2026 circuit order.
The Eighteenth Judicial Circuit's Administrative Order 26-16-B, effective April 1, 2026, assigns the Brevard probate and guardianship division to the Titusville Courthouse. Circuit civil, family and circuit criminal divisions are assigned to the Moore Justice Center in Viera.
Circuit courts hear proceedings relating to the estates of decedents under section 26.012, Florida Statutes. The Brevard County Clerk keeps a Viera Office at 2825 Judge Fran Jamieson Way.
Division assignments are updated by the circuit from time to time, so the current order is worth checking before a hearing. Easler Law PLLC handles probate administration for Viera families.
