How long does a rezoning take in Titusville?
A Titusville rezoning usually takes about three months and requires public hearings before both the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council.
Any Titusville property owner may ask for a rezoning by filing a written application, which is processed under Section 34-40 of the Land Development Regulations, according to the city's Applications and Fees page. Rezoning requests need public hearings before the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council and take about three months.
The Planning Department accepts applications only online through the BS&A portal, and fees are paid there too. An owner's authorization form is required unless the owner is the applicant.
The city fee schedule is adopted by Ordinance No. 45-2024. The city warns that staff never ask for wire transfers, and that every application invoice comes through BS&A Online.
