Must lenders register foreclosed or vacant property in Palm Bay?
Palm Bay requires mortgagees and trustees to register foreclosed and vacant properties online through HERA Property Registry and pay a fee.
The City of Palm Bay runs a Foreclosure and Vacant Property Registration program administered by HERA Property Registry, LLC, according to its Code Compliance page. Mortgagees and trustees covered by the ordinance must register online and pay a fee.
The program sits within the Code Compliance Division of the city's Growth Management Department. Owners and lenders handling a vacant Palm Bay home can also file code complaints, make lien payments and send inquiries through the city's iMS portal.
